Photography exhibition - Hidden Liverpool

I was delighted to discover some of my work had been selected to be part of Hidden Liverpool's photography exhibition. It is an exciting yearlong project that will explore some of the city's empty buildings by inviting residents and visitors to share memories, stories and images of buildings that they worked in, visited and used but can no longer access. My documentary project from last year at Copperas Hill - Liverpool's former main postal sorting office - fitted the bill and became part of the exhibition. The private view was last Thursday, where 100 people attended the People’s City photography exhibition launch and awards ceremony. The evening marked the first viewing of the exhibition which includes 53 fantastic images of ‘Hidden Liverpool’ and explores how buildings reflect people’s heritage within the city. Below is my selected work and some quick grabs from the event. The exhibition is on at The Old Blind School, Hardman Street, Liverpool, situated on the Corner of Hope Street and Hardman Street between 11am and 5pm. And it runs until the 1^stof December.
